Boise Climbs  This book, now in its 3rd edition, is the definitive guide to rock climbing in the greater Boise area. Riggins Limestone  This book details a small climbing area hidden away in the forests of Idaho’s Seven Devils Mountains. The area is thought by some to be the best sport-climbing site in Idaho. These unique crags offer approximately one hundred routes on steep quality limestone. The area’s pleasant mountain setting makes Riggins Limestone an excellent summertime destination. Riggins Limestone (ISBN 0-9743038-0-1) was self-published by Sandy Epeldi in the spring of 2002. It has 48 pages with about 30 photos, topos and maps. The page dimensions are 5.5”x 8.5”. $10.95

Swan Falls Bouldering  This book details bouldering at the Swan Falls Boulders of the Snake River Canyon. The area, located fifty minutes south of Boise, sports thousands of well-featured basalt boulders. Boulder problems (roughly 500 are described) abound at all degrees of difficulty. Also included in the book is a guide supplement to Reynolds Creek bouldering compiled by local climber Jamey Sproull. This area is located about an hour southwest of Boise in the Owyhee Front. The rock is composed of granite and rhyolite. Swan Falls Bouldering (ISBN 0-9743038-2-8) was self-published by Sandy Epeldi in April, 2008. It has 76 pages—59 pages detail Swan Falls and 17 pages cover the Reynolds Creek Area. There are 55 photos and 25 maps. The page dimensions are 5.5"x 8.5" and the bind is saddle. $13.50
